How do we get out of overwhelming fear or anger? Eckhart recommends we don’t even try. When overwhelmed with fear or anger, resisting these emotions causes more conflict. Saying yes to the experience reduces the intensity. Watching what is and acknowledging that it is what you see and feel and need not be judged is how we prevent escalation.
